In a significant development aimed at fostering Internet education and technological advancement in India, India Internet Foundation (IIFON) has entered into a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sri Sri University, Cuttack. This collaboration has led to the establishment of the Center of Internet Engineering on the university campus.
The MoU exchange took place in the esteemed presence of globally renowned spiritual leader and humanitarian, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The ceremony was attended by senior representatives from both organizations, including Mr. Anand Raje and Mr. Anupam Agrawal from the India Internet Foundation, and Professor Tej Pratap, Vice-Chancellor of Sri Sri University, reflecting the shared commitment to this collaborative initiative.
The Center of Internet Engineering is envisioned to become a premier institution dedicated to advanced research, capacity building, and collaborative innovation in the fields of Internet protocols, cybersecurity, Internet governance, and digital infrastructure. Through this initiative, IIFON and Sri Sri University aim to nurture technical expertise, promote interdisciplinary learning, and contribute meaningfully to the development of India’s digital capabilities.
This agreement marks a pivotal moment for both organizations in their shared mission to cultivate technological leadership, foster academic excellence, and support national objectives aligned with a digitally empowered India.
