About

AIORI Testbed

The “Advanced Internet Operations Research in India” (AIORI) initiative is a pioneering effort aimed at advancing next-generation Internet operations research through two critical components: a distributed anycast testbed and a measurement network with a protocol deployment and testing solution architecture.

  1. Distributed Anycast Testbed: This component provides a sophisticated platform for evaluating and optimizing anycast routing mechanisms across geographically dispersed nodes. It simulates real-world conditions to assess protocol performance, fault tolerance, and load distribution, ensuring that emerging protocols can effectively handle global connectivity challenges.
  2. Measurement Network: This component establishes a comprehensive infrastructure for precise measurement and analysis of internet protocols. It integrates advanced tools and techniques for monitoring network performance, security, and scalability, enabling thorough evaluation of new protocols under various operational scenarios.
  3. Protocol Deployment and Testing Solution Architecture: This framework supports the deployment, testing, and validation of internet protocols within a controlled environment. It facilitates the iterative development process, allowing for continuous refinement and optimization based on detailed performance metrics and feedback.

By integrating these components, AIORI aims to drive innovation in Internet infrastructure, enhancing its resilience, efficiency, and scalability to meet the demands of the evolving digital landscape.
