Overview

This series of 5 workshops was designed to equip the aspiring engineers and faculties with the knowledge and skills to build the future of the internet. The workshops covered a comprehensive range of topics, providing a strong foundation on Internet engineering and standards principles.Following the workshops, participants were provided with the opportunity to apply their newfound knowledge in a thrilling hackathon.

5 Regional Workshops: Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati

250+ Participants from diverse institutions

15+ Distinguished Speakers including industry leaders and professors

Sessions on:

  • Standards and compliance ecosystem with a focus on Internet standards (IETF)
  • DNS fundamentals
  • Protocol development
  • Measurement and monitoring infrastructure

Objectives:

  • Equip participants with a working knowledge of Internet protocols
  • Foster awareness about global standardization processes (IETF, ICANN, etc.)
  • Encourage academic-industry collaboration in Internet research

Impact:

Participants progressed to hands-on engagement through the AIORI Hackathon, turning their theoretical learning into impactful projects.
