Faculty Workshop

The objective of one-day workshop is to introduce faculty members to the world of Internet engineering, standards development, and measurement. Participants will gain insights into key Standards Development Organizations (SDOs) such as the IETF, IEEE and W3C, learn how to get involved, and understand the professional and academic benefits of participation. Each participant will be enrolled in the AIORI Ambassadors Program, and upon completion of the AIORI-2 edition, will graduate as an AIORI Ambassador. As part of this role, they will:

• Host an AIORI Anchor at their institution
• Organize a one-day National Internet Standards workshop for students
• Publish research paper in academic conference (Optional)
• Participate in the Standards Hackathon
