The AIORI Ambassadors Program is a flagship initiative under AIORI-2, designed to empower faculty members across India to serve as local champions of Internet standards, measurement, and research engagement.

Role of an AIORI Ambassador

  • Mentor Students: Guide and support student teams participating in the AIORI Hackathon and other initiatives. Conduct Local and National Students Workshop
  • Standards Hackathon – Participate in Standards Hackathon, forming a team
  • Promote Research and Engagement: Encourage participation in IETF, IEEE, and other SDOs As an AIORI Ambassador, you will act as a catalyst for spreading the culture of standards-based Internet development within your institution and region. Ambassadors are expected to:
  • Facilitate Collaboration: Build networks between academia, research communities, and technical forums

Path to Graduation

Upon successful participation in the AIORI-2 cycle (including hosting workshops or mentoring teams), ambassadors will formally graduate and be acknowledged at the AIORI Grand Finale and ORBIT 2025 conference.
